Close to Microsoft Windows Live Messenger service from March 15, 2013

Microsoft announced in January 2013 plans to the Messenger service which is formerly known as Windows Live Messenger / MSN Messenger. The plan would mean that one user the opportunity to go to Skype from March 15, 2013 on.

More than 100 million users of the service were informed by e-mail over short time except those in mainland China where Microsoft have extended the life of Windows Live Messenger on that area for a period secret.

It will be clear from March 15 2013 Messenger users will not sign in to Messenger and use of the service. The proposed date to download Microsoft Skype from where you exchange instant messages and calls with your Messenger friends. The only advantage is a likely to be registered to use their Windows Live login ID to Skype.

Skype allows users to use in their Windows Live account to log on to Skype, and send and receive instant messages and checking the September 2012 start of last test release for Windows and Mac, and if some of their friends across the whole Windows sites such as Xbox, Outlook, Hotmail, and Messenger.


Windows Live Messenger has a thriving community as demonstrated by the large number of distributed emails.
